Primary 1 met with 63 other schools today through glow meet organised by Learning Teaching Scotland. We learned all about puffins. We worked with Emily from the Scottish Seabird Centre and 1,300 other boys and girls around Scotland.
In the run up to the glow meet we looked at puffin photos, painted puffin pictures and even made our puffin hats which we wore during the glow meet. Percy said they were great hats! We had great fun and learned even more facts about these birds.
We did lots of actions to the story. When we pretended to flap our wings then splash land in the sea, the teachers splashed us with water. This was one of our favourite parts and we thought it was really funny!
